As I am typing this on the 12 hour road trip to Destin, Florida. If you don’t know where that is, then all you need to know is it’s on the beach.

It is very exciting, I’m watching How I Met Your Mother while browsing the internet in the middle of nowhere. My mom is driving like a woman, trying to watch my screen, swerving on to the ridges in the shoulder, and of course texting. The good news is, I am not dead yet. The bad news is, my phone just overheated like it does for some reason. So, I have to pause my browsing capable tethering for the time being, but I can still write this post.

I am presently in the middle of Mississippi and it looks like rain ahead. Technically it’s not the middle, it’s the lower lip, and now it’s raining fairly hard. I think I saw a dog over there.

I will enjoy the sunny beach soon, oh yes. Although, I did forget my giant cowboy hat…it really sucks. I did get the privilege of sitting on I-20 for approximately 30 min.

Because of an accident…

Finally, I arrive in Destin close to midnight.

It’s kind of difficult to see, but that is the ocean…I promise!

Also, moral of the story is: Always pay with $2 bills, you may end up with a free meal.
